With InfoComm 2012 fast-approaching, ATEN is pleased to announce that AV Technology Magazine has named the VS1208T A/V over CAT5 video splitter a finalist in the 2012 AV Technology End-User Awards. The AV Technology End-User Awards is an industry award program that recognizes outstanding product manufacturers that provide reliable, easy-to-operate and forward-thinking products. Winners will be featured in AV Technology Magazine and honored at InfoComm 2012.

Next month, in June, ATEN will once again exhibit at InfoComm in Las Vegas.  At its booth, ATEN will launch and showcase new product additions to its VanCryst™ line of professional A/V solutions. The new products include new HDMI optical extenders, an HDMI 8×8 Matrix Video Switch, a universal A/V to HDMI scaler, a VGA/CAT5 16×16 A/V Matrix Switch and an 8×8 VGA-based A/V Matrix Switch.

A special live demonstration of ATEN’s new HDMI optical extenders will be held at the booth # N451 throughout the event. InfoComm 2012 will feature 925-plus exhibitors and more than 300 education sessions taught by the industry’s most respected experts and over 34,000 A/V pros from all around the world.

Earlier this month, ATEN exhibited and showcased products at Interop Las Vegas 2012 held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center where more than 350 companies had a presence.

At the booth, ATEN showcased new product line of green solutions, which consists of PDUs (power distribution units), eco sensors and lightweight LCD consoles.  These products address the power consumption and excessive heat dissipation challenges of data centers by increasing energy efficiency and managing environmental factors.  The green solutions line includes NRGence™, a line of eco PDUs and eco Sensors, and the CL3000N, an industry-first, lightweight LCD console. ATEN products were covered editorially by CRN and Network World during the event.

Complementing the company’s existing full line of LCD console products, ATEN has introduced a new single-rail LCD console with support for DVI – the CL6700N. The DVI-based LCD Console features an integrated 19” high-resolution LCD monitor, full keyboard and touchpad housed in a 1U rack-mountable form factor. The CL6700N, which also supports audio, serves as the front end sliding console for compatible DVI-based KVM switches.

ATEN has noticed an uptick in migrations of high-end DVI workstations in data centers being leveraged as servers –leading to the introduction of the CL6700N to the market.

At InfoComm, ATEN will debut a host of new A/V solutions such as fiber optic extenders, an HDMI Matrix video switch, VGA and CAT5 video matrix switches and a universal AV to HDMI scaler.
